WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY? 68504 Admin reply: Dear Irene; We play aggressively traditional bluegrass music. It's an acquired taste. RT

I've been checking your schedule to see if you will be playing at Canal Street Tavern again this January. I'm looking forward to hearing you again - and the sooner the better!

Did I hear you are working on the soundtrack for a movie? Is that happening?

Could you e-mail me with the date of your upcoming Berkeley show? When I was at Strawberry, I thought that Sept 14th at the F&S was mentioned, but none of the group are listed on the F&S Sept Calendar. Thanks.

I declare your fiddle player played real prettily. And pretty is as pretty does. Thanks for bringing her along.

I was completely entertained and delighted with your show at Strawberry. I was very surprised and impressed with Ron's monolog. I came right home and looked up DBFS and found the quarterly installments. I didn't realise the areas of social and political conversation he goes in to. It gave me a lot to think about. I am now absolutely in love with and a huge fan of Ron, his style and his gift for humor with meaning. It's hard to step out there like Ron does and not step "in it" or on someone though..."republicans cut spending on education to take advantage of the ignorance it creates"? (OK I paraphrased) Or...It's somehow now shameful and embarrassing to think that our president or foreign policies may actually be doing some "good" (along with the mistakes and the fact that is taking a considerable amount of time and life's). I think one can easily loose sight of what is going on there or what is at stake and what our real problem is, that is if we really can understand the problem in the first place. I think it might be good to listen to the experts in certain areas (if we weren't all so cynical or maybe stubborn with our own vision), like maybe Fouad Ajami, Professor of middle Eastern Studies at John Hopkins among many many others. Maybe to be balanced you could count him instead of Ann Coulter and Bill O'Reilly, they get enough press. Anyhow, I love what you are doing and plan to stay "tuned in" to your music and Ron's societal insights. Keith from Chico

Just want to say how much I enjoyed your Strawberry Music Festival set. Loved the Gospel Music at Birch Lake and Ron's story about his son brought me to tears. Thanks so much for you music and God Bless - Patrice Webb

I know nothing about the recording and publishing business, but is there a reason that your wonderful early albums can't be released on CD's? I have them, but there's so much good music on them that I'm that they would be snapped up..and I'd love to be able to get them for friends..?? Thanks..
